About Me

Born In London I experiment with different mediums. Using oil paint, sculpture, Acrylic paint, canvas on board, and a few other materials.

I have achieved a Masters degree with a distinction in fine Art from Kingston University. My work has been published in Art Habens Review. Since then I have been continuing to learn and develop my work in specifically the medium of oil painting. I have built a portfolio of artwork and I exhibit at various art fairs and galleries around London. My work is both collected having sold and been commissioned. The artwork has had lots of interest by members of the public.

Recently I am exhibiting at Zari Gallery where I will show some of my intricate realistic oil paintings and surrealist paintings. I have been shortlisted for prizes like the royal art prize.

My Art Process

My artwork canvases are some handmade and some shop bought depending on the type in the artwork series. I generally prefer making them myself.

Reference images come from all sorts of sources and generally this takes up a lot of time as well most of the surrealist images come from imagination and research into other images. I take a long time in finding the correct image for each new artwork.

Oil paints and acrylic paints are selected by different brands to add even more depth to my paintings.

The materials for my sculptures are varied from ceramic to concrete to perspex, they are carefully selected to create smooth contours

gold leaf has been used before but iā€™m interested in how this material can have a decayed look/natural

My paint brushes and varied in size with the works with high amount of detail I use some of the smallest types of paint brushes. To medium paint brushes and varnishing brushes.

My style has evolved from experimenting with materials and working on my drawing and painting techniques. I learn from mistakes and trying new techniques

The time it takes to produce work. Some paintings are fast some are a lot slower. Some take large amounts of research to build and this aplies for my sculptures as well.

Exhibitions

I like going to see exhibitions and and I also enjoy reading about how other artists get inspiration and write about there work.
